About Natasha
Hello, I’m Natasha Trees, Therapist and Coach. I was born in the Pacific Northwest and am proud to call this place home. However, having also spent formative years in the Midwest, and Overseas, I’ve become aware of the unique challenges that can come with adjusting to different cultures, environments, and traditions.
Life has offered me a multitude of experiences, both personally and professionally, guiding me to align with my own purpose - as well as a desire to support others in finding meaning in theirs.
As a healthcare professional of over twenty years, I bring warmth, wisdom, humor, compassion, and authenticity to each session.
I am a curious science geek with an active spiritual practice, and a background in the creative arts - and I am often striving to find ways to bridge those worlds together. I am an outdoor enthusiast who feels deeply inspired and connected to the ecosystem and beauty this area has to offer.
Humor is vital to my life. Because of this, I often seek experiences in which laughter nourishes. I can be found pursuing many endeavors including: outdoor activities, dance, movie watching, sharing meals with good friends, travel, and exploring new psychological ideas with my spouse who works with me and is also a therapist.
My Approach and Influence
Strength-Centered
Let’s focus and refine the strengths and capacity you already possess to work for you in a more fluid and productive way.
Experiential
Some of the most powerful and transformational work can be actualized through present moment experience. Let’s support you in the here and now.
Mind-Body
New brain science supports techniques and tools which enhance the mind’s interaction with the body (or soma) to promote overall well-being. Let’s explore the possibilities.
Attachment-Based
If you would like to have better relationships with yourself and others, Attachment theory is at the heart of robust communication and connection. Let’s work towards creating better relationships with yourself and others.
I specialize in helping people to:
Find Meaning & Purpose
You're doing okay. Everything is “fine” but you’re looking to be a better human. Let’s support you in finding the tools and resources that allow you to align with your heart, your head - and to a greater sense of meaning and direction in life.
Navigate Difficult Life Transitions
Stress around change is often overwhelming and under recognized. Let’s help you navigate these shifts more effectively and easily. I’m here for your grief, your joy, your challenges, and your strengths.
Improve Self-Esteem & Reduce Anxiety
Feeling anxious? Wishing to increase your self-confidence? Let’s support you in finding tools that emphasis your strengths as a vehicle for self-advocacy and self-love.
Reach Health & Wellness Goals
Feeling stuck or anxious around health concerns? Let’s support you in cultivating your unique path to health and vitality. I welcome and enjoy explorations of mind, body, and spirit - with care, experience, and an open perspective.
Get Support as a Healthcare Worker
Burnout is real. I offer many years of experience working in health care and with health care professionals. I understand many of the demands and complexities these careers require. Let me support you in finding a way to create balance for yourself and prioritize the things you value most in life.
Boost the Mind-body Connection
Let me be your guide in more fully understanding the mind-body connection. New brain science supports techniques and tools which enhance the mind’s interaction with the body. I use a Hakomi-informed somatic approach to help you connect and shift unconscious patterns that no longer serve you.
